Enjoy the afternoon at leisure, either resting or exploring the surrounding area to aid in acclimatization. For those opting for an extra day on the mountain, Mawenzi Tarn offers a perfect base for acclimatization hikes, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in Kilimanjaro's majestic scenery.

    Feel the anticipation rise as dawn breaks with an early start between midnight and 2 a.m. with Bee Adventure Safari. This segment marks the most mentally and physically demanding part of the trek. Ascend towards the summit between Rebmann and Ratzel glaciers, staying resilient and focused amidst the cold. Switchbacking in a northwesterly direction, reach Stella Point on the crater rim, greeted by a breathtaking sunrise. With one final hour's ascent to Uhuru Peak, rejoice in the accomplishment of reaching the highest point in Africa. After celebrations and photos, begin the descent to Mweka Camp, stopping briefly at Barafu for lunch. Trekking poles and gaiters are recommended for the steep descent. Rest and reflect on your incredible journey as you spend your final evening on the mountain.

    DAY 7: HOROMBO HUTS – MARANGU GATE – MOSHI-ARUSHA: 20KM/12.5MI |6-7HRS | RAINFOREST

    After a hearty breakfast and a touching ceremony of gratitude and camaraderie with your dedicated crew, it's time to bid farewell with Bee Adventure Safari. Descend further, pausing at Mandara Huts for lunch and to bid farewell to your guides, cooks, and porters. At Marangu Park Gate, receive your well-deserved summit certificates. As you navigate through warmer, wetter, and steeper terrain, gaiters and trekking poles are recommended. A vehicle awaits at the gate to transport you back to Moshi, where a hot shower, dinner, and celebratory atmosphere await, marking the culmination of your remarkable Kilimanjaro adventure.
