Despite its reputation for being “easier,” proper preparation and acclimatization are essential for reaching Uhuru Peak.

Spend the day exploring nearby trails and improving acclimatization. A popular hike is to Zebra Rocks (4,000m/13,123 ft), known for its striped formations. Enjoy the views of Kibo and Mawenzi Peaks while your body adjusts to the altitude. Return to Horombo Hut for rest and preparation.
