Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where you’ll be warmly welcomed by Bee Adventure Safari representatives. Enjoy a scenic drive to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi town. Take the evening to rest, meet your trekking team, and prepare for your adventure. Overnight stay in a comfortable lodge or hotel.

Activities:
Begin your trek at the Rongai Gate with a gradual ascent through farmland and pine forests. Enjoy views of the Kenyan plains as you acclimatize to the environment. Arrive at Simba Camp, set in the moorland zone, for dinner and an overnight stay under the stars.

Activities:
Continue trekking through heathland and rocky terrain with sweeping views of Kibo Peak. Stop for lunch and acclimatization at Second Cave Camp. The trail becomes steeper, offering glimpses of the summit. Enjoy an evening of relaxation and storytelling with your team at camp.

Journey deeper into Kilimanjaro’s wilderness as you traverse diverse landscapes, including rocky outcrops and lush vegetation. This moderate trek leads you to Kikelewa Camp, offering panoramic views of Mawenzi Peak. Rest and acclimatize at this serene location while enjoying a hot meal under the clear sky.

Distance: ~5 km (3.1 miles)
Approx. Time: 4-5 hours

Activities:
Begin a steep ascent toward Mawenzi Tarn Camp, located beneath the towering spires of Mawenzi Peak. Marvel at the alpine desert’s raw beauty and the tarn’s shimmering waters. Spend the afternoon acclimatizing, relaxing, and enjoying the dramatic scenery surrounding the camp.

Distance: ~8 km (5 miles)
Approx. Time: 5-6 hours

Activities:
Traverse the lunar-like alpine desert as you approach Kibo Hut, the base for your summit attempt. The trail offers clear views of the summit ridge and Mawenzi Peak. Upon arrival, rest, hydrate, and prepare for the midnight push to Uhuru Peak.

Altitude: 4,700m (15,420 ft) to 5,895m (19,341 ft), then down to 3,720m (12,204 ft)
Distance: ~21 km (13 miles)
Approx. Time: 12-16 hours

Activities:
Begin the summit trek around midnight, climbing through scree to Gilman’s Point. Continue along the crater rim to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Kibo Hut for a brief rest and then continue to Horombo Hut for an overnight stay.

Activities:
Descend through the lush rainforest to Marangu Gate, reflecting on your incredible journey. Receive your summit certificates at the gate and celebrate with your team. A transfer will take you back to Arusha or Moshi for a well-deserved rest at your lodge or hotel.
