Today, the highlight of your journey awaits as you embark on an unforgettable adventure to encounter Bwindi’s gentle giants, the endangered mountain gorillas. Gorilla tracking involves searching for one of the habituated family groups, a trek that can last between 2 to 7 hours. Upon locating them, you’ll have one magical hour to observe and immerse yourself in their presence before returning to the lodge to unwind and reflect on this once-in-a-lifetime experience.
After breakfast, set off on a scenic drive back to Kihihi Airstrip, preparing for your return flight to Entebbe.
