    Day 1: Arusha to Londorossi Gate to Mti Mkubwa (Big Tree Camp)

    In the morning, you will head to Lemosho Gate, where the national park authorities will register you. Afterward, your trek begins through the dense rainforest. Although today’s walk is the shortest, lasting about 2½ hours, it provides a small glimpse of the adventure that lies ahead. As you make your way through the lush, untouched forest, notice how the scenery will change in the coming days. Along the trail, you might spot unique flora and fauna that enrich the experience. Finally, your destination for the day is the stunning Big Tree Camp, located at 2780 meters, offering a perfect spot to relax and prepare for the journey ahead.

    Day 2: Big Tree Camp Shira Camp 1

    Elevation: 3600 m/9137ft to 3500 m/12,779ft
    Altitude gained: 1110m

    After breakfast, you will embark on a narrow trail through the rainforest, gradually leaving the lush greenery behind. As you proceed, the terrain shifts into the scenic moorland, now adorned with Erica and Lobelia plants. Along the way, take time to appreciate the changing landscape and unique flora. After 3 to 4 hours of trekking, you will finally arrive at Shira Camp 1, where you’ll find rest and nourishment for the night. Here, you can unwind and enjoy the breathtaking views. Additionally, this beautiful spot offers a perfect place to recharge while surrounded by the captivating landscape, setting the stage for further exploration in the days ahead.

After a day of exploration, finally arrive at Shira Camp 2 at 3900m, where you can enjoy a satisfying dinner of warm soup, grilled chicken, and vegetables.     Day 4: Shira Camp 2 Lava Tower Barranco Camp

After your meal, begin your ascent to Lava Tower, gaining 740m for crucial acclimatization. Once you’ve rested, descend through Barranco Valley, where you’ll pass stunning Senecias and Lobelia plants. After 6 to 7 hours of trekking, you will finally reach Barranco Camp, where the crew will warmly welcome you with a well-deserved evening meal. This marks the end of a day filled with altitude adjustment and scenic exploration, preparing you for the adventures that lie ahead.

    Day 5: Barranco Camp Karanga Camp

    After breakfast, you will ascend the Begin your ascent of the iconic Barranco Wall, the steepest section of the route, under the careful guidance of experienced guides who prioritize safety. Although some handholds may be necessary, rest assured that no alpine climbing is involved. Once you conquer the wall, you will then traverse the mountain ridge, allowing you to relish stunning views of Kibo's southern glacier. After 3 to 4 hours of trekking, you will finally arrive at Karanga Camp, where a well-deserved overnight stay awaits. Here, you can unwind amidst the awe-inspiring beauty of Mount Kilimanjaro, reflecting on the day’s achievements and preparing for the adventures ahead.

    Your summit day begins at 00:00 with hot tea and biscuits, fueling you for a 5-7 hour trek to Stella Point, the crater rim of Kilimanjaro. After a brief rest, continue your ascent for another 1-2 hours to reach the pinnacle, Uhuru Peak (5895 m). Here, witness an unforgettable sunrise atop Africa, capturing breathtaking views. Afterward, descend to Barafu Camp for 1-2 hours of rest before continuing down to Mweka Gate (3080 m), which takes about 3 hours. Finally, the evening offers relaxation, a hearty meal, and well-deserved rest after an exhilarating day of adventure.

    Day 8: Mweka Camp – Mweka Gate – Usa River


    (3080 m) to (1630 m)

    Following breakfast, take time to savor a traditional farewell ceremony with the mountain guides. Afterward, embark on a 2-3 hour walk through the rainforest toward Mweka Gate. Once there, our driver will be waiting to transport you to Sal Salinero Hotel. Enjoy the rest of the day unwinding and reflecting on the exhilarating journey of the past days, celebrating your achievements and the memories created along the way.
