Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where Bee Adventure Safari representatives will greet you. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi for check-in. Spend the evening resting, meeting your guide for a trek briefing, and preparing for your climb. Overnight stay at a comfortable lodge.

Begin your trek through the dense rainforest, climbing steep trails with towering trees and moss-covered rocks. The trail offers a remote and tranquil experience. Arrive at Umbwe Cave Camp in the moorland zone, where you’ll enjoy dinner and settle in for the night.

Activities:
Ascend out of the forest and into the open moorland, with stunning views of Kibo Peak and the Barranco Valley. The trail becomes rockier and steeper as you approach Barranco Camp, situated beneath the impressive Barranco Wall. Spend the evening acclimatizing and enjoying the scenery.

Start your day by tackling the Barranco Wall, a thrilling non-technical climb that rewards you with breathtaking views of the Southern Icefields. Traverse ridges and valleys to reach Karanga Camp, where you’ll rest, acclimatize, and prepare for the higher altitudes ahead.

Activities:
Trek through the alpine desert to Barafu Camp, the base for your summit attempt. The trail offers panoramic views of Mawenzi Peak and the surrounding landscape. Spend the afternoon resting, hydrating, and preparing for the midnight climb to the summit.

Altitude: 4,640m (15,223 ft) to 5,895m (19,341 ft), then down to 3,080m (10,105 ft)
Distance: ~17 km (10.6 miles)
Approx. Time: 10-14 hours

Activities:
Begin your summit attempt in the early morning, ascending through scree to Stella Point and then to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa. After celebrating your achievement, descend to Barafu Camp for a brief rest and continue to Mweka Camp for overnight recovery.
