Arrive at Kilimanjaro International Airport, where Bee Adventure Safari representatives will greet you. Transfer to your hotel in Arusha or Moshi for an evening of relaxation. Meet your guide for a trek briefing and gear check. Enjoy dinner and prepare for your Kilimanjaro adventure.

Activities:
Begin your trek at Marangu Gate, hiking through lush rainforest teeming with wildlife like colobus monkeys. The well-maintained trail leads to Mandara Hut, nestled in the forest. Enjoy a short walk to Maundi Crater for stunning views of northern Tanzania and Kenya. Overnight in the cozy Mandara huts.

Distance: ~12 km (7.5 miles)
Approx. Time: 6-8 hours

Activities:
Continue through the rainforest and enter the moorland zone, characterized by giant heathers and unique plants like lobelias. The trail offers breathtaking views of Kibo and Mawenzi peaks. Arrive at Horombo Hut, where you’ll rest and acclimatize. Enjoy a hearty meal and a night under the stars.

Distance: ~10 km (6.2 miles)
Approx. Time: 5-7 hours

Activities:
Trek through the alpine desert, a stark and beautiful landscape. Pass the iconic “Last Water Point” and traverse the Saddle, a barren stretch between Mawenzi and Kibo. Arrive at Kibo Hut, your base for the summit attempt. Rest and prepare for the midnight ascent to Uhuru Peak.

Altitude: 4,703m (15,430 ft) to 5,895m (19,341 ft), then down to 3,720m (12,205 ft)
Distance: ~22 km (13.7 miles)
Approx. Time: 10-14 hours

Activities:
Begin the challenging ascent at midnight, climbing to Gilman’s Point along the crater rim. Continue to Uhuru Peak, the highest point in Africa, to witness a breathtaking sunrise. Celebrate your achievement before descending back to Kibo Hut for a rest, then continue to Horombo Hut for an overnight stay.

Activities:
Trek back through the moorland and rainforest to Marangu Gate, reflecting on your incredible journey. Receive your summit certificates and bid farewell to your trekking team. A transfer will take you back to Moshi or Arusha for a well-deserved celebration and relaxation at your lodge or hotel.
